I love the fit of the empire waist and the contrast of the two textures - knit upper and viscose satin bottom. It is a staple piece that I will have in my closet for many years to come because the quality is outstanding. I am small-busted and can wear the dress braless as the knit construction and adjustable straps provide enough support. I consider this a transitional piece - it can be worn in the summer with sandals or in the winter with a sweater thrown over the top and tights if needed. I purchased the black brushed cashmere sweater to layer with it and I am obsessed.
